As we settle into the new year, many of us are looking for ways to breathe fresh life into our living spaces. One of the most impactful ways to transform a room, and make it feel like home, is through thoughtfully displayed artwork.
I think the key to a successful art display is choosing pieces that speak to you and presenting them in a way that enhances both the artwork and your space. Whether you're starting fresh or reimagining your existing space, now is the perfect time to give your walls the attention they deserve. Maybe 2025 is the year our walls never looked better!
When I started offering framed prints, I had three main priorities: making frames affordable, creating an easy process, and ensuring professional quality. Finding the right frame often feels like more of a hassle than picking out the right print! We've all been there—you find that perfect piece of art, excitedly purchase it, and then... it sits in a tube or folder for months while you hunt for the right frame. The struggle is real! Which color should you choose? How do you figure out matting sizes and options? And let's be honest—who wants to spend more on a frame than they did on the art itself?
I wanted to eliminate this hassle for you, my customers, and provide a quality product and service that makes shopping for (or gifting) artwork easy and affordable. I spent a whole month researching different options, and I'm thrilled with the frames I offer—I think you will be too!
The very best part?? ALL art prints (framed or unframed) will always ship FREE. I care that much about your walls getting dressed ;)
“How do I decide on what size to get?”
This is a common question, and for good reason! When choosing artwork sizes, you'll want to consider both your wall space and the furniture around it.
Here are a few quick tips:
- For above a sofa or a main wall: Choose larger pieces (16x20 or 24x30) or create a gallery wall with multiple smaller pieces
- For hallways: 11x14 prints work well in series
- For bedside tables or small nooks: 8x10 prints provide perfect accent pieces
Pro tip: Use painter's tape to mock up the size on your wall before purchasing. This helps visualize how the piece will fit in your space!
I say all of that, and then feel like I need to close with… there are no rules! Nail the wall and hang up the art! If you hate it in 2 weeks, you can change it. Just don’t not hang it up. Life is too short for bare walls ;)
